About the game
This is a good old platform style game.
Like many other oldschool games, this is a one hit kill game, so look out!
You can attack enemies by yelling at them.
You can only have one yelled word on the screen at a time, so it's best not to just run around yelling at the top of your lungs constantly.
The attacks don't kill the enemies though; they freeze them instead.
When the enemy is frozen you can jump on it, and use it as a platform until it starts moving again.
Your words change and get bigger and more powerful the more power-ups you collect, until you collect 4 of them.
Once you have 4, your yelling goes back to its original state, but you are invincible for a short time, and can charge through enemies to actually defeat them!
In most of the levels there's a boss, who will challenge you to either the memory card game, or the word chain game.
Beat them at their own game to keep moving forward and save your people!
About this translation
The game is like many typical platformers of the time, in that it has little text to translate.
What is there is all done though, and it is fully playable in lovely English.
I actually decided to translate this game at about the same time as when my brother started translating Kero Kero Keropi's Great Big Adventure 2.
Since that Keropi series was basically a better known Wagyan ripoff, I thought it would be funny to release my translation at the same time my brother released his.
I stopped however, after only adding an English font and translating maybe a line or two of text, and subsequently forgot about the game for awhile.
After finishing my Joy Mech Fight translation, I remembered it and finished it up.
It's a pretty fun game, hope you like it!
I'm afraid of lizards, but I want to play! What should I do?
Well, the best thing to do with a fear is to face it.
I know jumping right into the role of a lizard may seem like a drastic step, but it'll be worth it!
Since when you're done you'll be cured of your fear, and get to enjoy playing a great game!
If you really don't care to overcome your fear, but still want to play, you could always try something else too.
Like playing the game blindfolded and getting someone to narrate what's happening on the screen to you.
Or you could pretend he's a frog or a snail or some other similar animal.
There really aren't that many lizards in the game anyway, so chances are you might be able to overcome the fear long enough to enjoy playing without any help.
I found a bug!
Let me know and I'll fix it some day.
There's nothing more embarrassing than releasing a translation you claim is complete, only to find out later that it's full of typos and glitches.
Actually there's lots of more embarrassing things.
Like tripping and falling on your face, or farting loudly during a big presentation you're giving to a group of your superiors.
Regardless, its still a little embarrassing, and annoying to people playing the game.
So tell me about it and, I'll try to get it fixed.
