About the game
For those who feel like playing a more linear, single player RPG board game, Sugoro Quest is the game for you.
In this game you control four heroes: the fighter, dwarf, elf, and half-elf.
When playing the game you get to choose one of the heroes and choose the level you want to play.
Each level is like a game board, each with its own story for why they help from the Dice Heroes.
You move forward on the board by rolling a dice to see how many steps you take.
Depending on what tiles you land on, different events occur.
You could meet townsfolk, fight battles, find a healing spring, get important story scenes and much more.
Story events will stop your progress, even if you've rolled more than the amount needed to land on these squares.
So there's no need to worry about missing the plot.
Fighting is also controlled by the lick of the dice.
You roll you dice, your opponent rolls theirs, and the player who rolls highest gets to attack for however many times higher their roll is than the loser.
If there's a tie, the dice stack up ad you just keep on rolling, the loser loses all of their dice this time, and the winner in the end gets to attack with their hole stack of dice.
There's also a chance that you or your enemy will throw the dice right at each other.
When this happens there's a chance you'll be knocked out, and unable to defend yourself for a few turns!
If you don't want to do the dirty work you can call your Diceman to fight for you.
You roll to see what Diceman will fight for you, and each one is slightly different.
I'll leave figuring out their differences to you.
You have to use the hero you chose until you either fail or complete your mission.
When you're done the mission, for better or for worse, you return to the castle for a chance to restock your items and equipment.
You can chose a different hero for the next board, or replay the one you just finished if the hero you want is still too weak for later levels.
If you want to play an RPG, with a game style is unlike any other, you need to try Sugoro Quest!
About this translation
This is another one of my bigger projects, and like my other major project strangely enough, is also a boardgame/RPG mix.
I seem to be strangely drawn to these game... but I can't help it!
They're so fun!
This English translation is almost 100% complete, and ready for gaming pleasure.
The only issue I know of is that sometimes, the status screen comes up as garbled text.
I haven't yet been able to find where to fix this in the ROM, and it's really a very minor thing, so I'm considering the project complete.
I might look at it again at some point and find the problem, but don't hold your breath.

Where did this version name come from?
The name comes from a previous hack of the game done by TarzanH long before I started the project.
Nothing wrong with hacking a game you like to make it playable, but the text was completely made up.
So there really was no translation available, just a hack.
Since the game hadn't actually been translated, we really still had no way of playing the game the way it was meant to be.
So I translated it.
In the first board on the made up hack, TarzanH made the king say "GREAT KOOGLY MOOGLY!! DOES IT EVER STOP?".
The phrase was afterwards used in making fun of the incorrect translation, and at least in the old days was mentioned almost every time Sugoro Quest was.
So I named this version in honour of the fake translation.
The titivillus part is because my last release was full of typos. Titivillus is the patron demon of scribes(the typo demon), so I added that to the version name since that's what this version fixes.
CURSE YOU TITIVILLUS!
In case I screwed up somewhere
There's always a chance that I've messed up somewhere. Could be a typo, and overrun line, or worse.
There's always a bigger chance I'll miss something if there's more text to hide the mistake in.
Not like that's ever happened before or anything though.
If you see anything like this that isn't in mentioned in the description, then please just let me know.
That may I can try to make things all better!
