Ding diddle ding ding, ding diddle ding ding, ding diddle ding ding ding...
No actual episodes or games are on this site.
You'll have to go to www.eskimobob.com if you want to see that.
I will however give you some related information and images and such about it, that you probably won't see there.
I'll update this section occasionally as I think of more things to add, or get asked more questions or requests for stuff.
What is Eskimo Bob?
Eskimo Bob is a flash cartoon series that you can find at www.eskimobob.com.
The cartoon is scripted, recorded and animated by me and my brother Tomas.
We also do most of the voice acting for the show, though occasionally we have some outside acting from our friends and family.
The episodes are generally quite short, but the length is not consistent, some being less than a minute and others being over 10 minutes long.
VHS covers

These are the images for the VHS cases of the
Eskimo Bob videos.
On the left is the
and so it begins VH, which has the first 18 episodes and a secret episode(episode x), which was sold on the website from 2001-2006.
The one on the right was made actually before episode 26 was complete.
We never actually ended up making this video(it may have had more episodes if we ever had), but I thought it'd be interesting to show people what almost was.
Time for some music
I'll put whatever relevant music I can find on here whenever I find it.
First off, here's the theme song to the show, both the English and French versions.
Sung by me back when I was in grade 12.
I have thought about resinging the English version to clean the quality up a few times, but it's just classic, so for now it stays.
English Theme Music
French Theme Music (Robert L'Eskimo)
Here's another couple of tunes.
These are the background musics played during episode 18(We're Irish), and 29(The Overture).
Irish Weddin Dance(Episode 18)
Eskimo Bob Overture(Episode 29)
Here's Irritating Stick.
The Spititual Tazer version is the one featured in episode 13(Eskimo Bob Z) during the battle between Bob and the Penguin.
It is possibly the file most requested by fans since the release of episode 13.
During 2001 requests for an mp3 of it were occuring on almost a daily basis, and I still get requests for it occasionally, so here it is.
The Banana Yellow versions of the song is a remix done for episode 26, this time during the battle between Bob and the merged Sams and Penguin.
Irritating Stick - Eskimo Bob Mix(Spiritual Tazer)
Irritating Stick - Evil Stupid Remix(Banana Yellow)
They're all by William Hunt(Spiritual Tazer).
He also did the voice of the Penguin for us in episodes 13 and 26, and was an old romhacker (chocoman) back in the day too.
We got them all at basically the same time.
Two of them you will likely recognize from the start and end of episode 13.
We haven't used the other one.

Top secret recording sessions
Ok, so they're obviously not top secret if they're up here, but oh well.
These were recorded during a recording session for either episode 26 or 31 I think.
Phelan was going to record his lines for the Fish in a Spaceship, but there was much ranting and foolery to go around first.
The static comments were made because I told Phelan not to talk directly into the mic or it would make the recording to static-filled to use.
I had a $10 mic with no shielding of any sort, so that's how we needed to do things.
Actually that's how we still need to do things...
Anyway, he recorded most of this without us knowing, and even after we knew, he kept going on.
He saved the files into our Nintendo game directory to hide them I suppose.
I'm not really sure if I've heard them until I was building this page again, and stumbled across them while looking for my translations.
Either way, I remember the event, but not the file.
The file names were just garbled bunches of letters too, to make it that much trickier to find.
You may not find them as funny as I did, but here they are anyway.

In news print

These are the only scanned articles I could find lying around my computer.
The one on the left is from the
Truro Daily News(May 26, 2001) and the one on the right is from
The Chronicle Herald(August 4, 2001).
Some other news media we've had articles in that I know about are:

We were on the cover of Truro Magazine at one point too, though I don't know the date/article name.
I have a copy back home in Nova Scotia.
So maybe I'll scan it in a few months when I'm home, if I can remember.
There's a couple that just seem to be repeats put into different papers too, and there might be more articles I just don't know about as well.
On the news
We also got a interviewed by ATV news, and had a little segment on both their Live @ 5 and regular evening news programs.
All the clips of us and Dan MacIntosh were the same, the other people were different though.
I was honestly more proud of the fact that she laughed to much to finish her sentence than I was of getting on the news.
This link will take you to where my brother uploaded it on YouTube.

Eskimo Bob's history
The story of Eskimo Bob began in a small village in Nova Scotia, named Bible Hill.
Two young brothers, one not yet finished high school, were as usual, unable to find rest, and still fully awake at the our of 3 in the morning.
This was no regular night however.
The air was crisp and cold, and the ground lightly covered in snow.
The date was December 24, Christmas Eve of 2000.
The brothers, unmatched in physical appearance and intellect, were in a somewhat more ridiculous mood than usually they were at this hour.
Given the circumstances, it was inevitable that something great was about to happen, which would change the course of the two brothers' lives, and the fate of the very world itself forever.
Making their way to the living room, Alan, the younger of the two began playing Christmas carols on the piano, while facing the opposite direction so as to make the task more humorous and challenging.
Tomas, the elder brother, laughing all the while said "Hey Alan, play me a song about an Eskimo!".
Alan turned to face the piano and without any hesitation or thought, began to play and sing that fateful ballad: "Eskimo Bob, Eskimo Bob. He eats ra-aw fish! Eskimo Bob, Eskimo Bob. He is... Cool!".
The brothers instantly burst into laughter at what had just transpired, not realizing that this would become much more than another frivolous action of short lived amusement.
Alan continued to sing and play the song, which awoke their mother who came into the room.
"What are you two laughing about?" said their mother, "Is that some sort of cartoon or something?".
The very thought that the little jingle Alan had just created was mistaken for a cartoon theme song made this all the more amusing for the brothers.
They mused that they actually should make a cartoon based on the event, and decided to do so.
For now though, they were told they should keep the noise down so as not to wake anyone else.
They moved to the basement, and continued talking about Eskimo Bob; making plans for the animation for a few more minutes, before retiring for the night.
During the following day, while discussing and laughing about the previous night's events, their father suggested jokingly that they give Bob a sidekick named Alfonzo.
After a laugh, the idea was scuffed off, and nothing was planed to become of this.
Over the next couple of weeks, more ideas were made for the character of Bob, who was to be a mute wielding a stick, that ate fish and belched profusely.
Several ideas for short episodes of Bob's daily life were imagined, which were to eventually lead into the 13th episode.
This episode would be much longer and more involved than previous ones, with the shocking event of a nemesis(the Penguin), to be introduced.
This villain would without provocation, break Bob's prized stick.
As a reaction, this would cause Bob to speak for the first time in the series.
He then would throw back his hood, revealing long black hair, which upon powering up, would stick straight in the air and have a golden glow.
The character of Bob and the fish he would eat were drawn on paper using sharpies during this time, but the animation medium was not chosen until after the new year.
Tomas had learned the basics of flash animation at college, and Alan agreed that it would be a good medium to use, as it did not seem difficult to learn.
The first episode was completed shortly after, having nothing more than the theme song, and an animation of Bob eating a fish and burping.
The cartoon amused the brothers greatly, and they put in on the internet, showing it to their friends and to the internet romhacking community, which the brothers were involved in.
Those they showed seemed just as amused with it as the brothers, so they decided it was worth the effort, and continued.
The idea of having more characters was considered seriously now, and the brothers used the idea of Alfonso that their father had originally suggested, since it amused them.
Many more episodes were rapidly released, and the brothers both learned much more about flash animation.
Largely by word of mouth, the series spread like wildfire over the internet, getting the brothers news attention, and internet fame the likes of which they had never experienced before.
And the rest as they say, is history...
Ok, so the story form of that might be a little over the top, but the events are actually what happened.
Up late Christmas eve, fooling around on the piano and made the song, thought it'd be funny to make it a cartoon after my mom's comment, got Alfonso suggestion which we later used from dad, our real/romhacking friends liked it and showed people, it got popular, we got news time...
Lots of other stuff has happened, we got some more exposure when we started putting it on newgrounds(including our first negative feedback), and it kept spreading through word of mouth even more.
We got the domain for it eventually, started parodying lots of things, got a store online, made some games, cards, chat rooms, and message boards, sold videos, and we're still doing it now, more than 6 years after it was first put on the internet.
